Things are awkward enough as she starts an affair with old boyfriend Frederic right under the nose of her current lover Carl, but when their wives Anne Charlotte find out, things start to get real.

What’s a girl to do? In Desirée’s world the only thing to do is invite the whole gang for a weekend away with her family, throw in songs, banter, the mother of all parties and hope for the best. With everyone in one place, romance and the promise of second chances in the air, things are bound to work out, right?

A Christmas Carol

Cotswold care hospice

This winter, Jacob’s Well return to the Playhouse with Dickens’ immortal tale of hope and redemption.

In the heart of London town, on Christmas Eve, Victorian miser Ebenezer Scrooge faces past, present and future with a haunting truth about the life he’s lived. Lights of long ago dance before the here and now and then a bleak tomorrow. What hope is there for a wicked, old sinner like Scrooge?

Ghosts, Marley, the Fezziwigs, Bob Cratchet and Tiny Tim… Join us for this familiar, old tale, told in unfamiliar ways. Alan Menken (composer of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid) provides the glorious musical score for what promises to be the hit musical sensation of the festive season.

A Swinging Christmas Evening

Ding Dong! Merrily On High! Angus Prune OBE is back, with the Plum Pudding of Radio Comedy – It’s …I’m Sorry I’ll Read That Again (Again) – A Christmas Wonder Show!

A brand-new and strictly one-off compilation, celebrating the festive episodes of this anarchic and deliciously surreal comedy series that gave birth to The Goodies, Monty Python’s Flying Circus and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. After their critically-acclaimed tour this year, The OFFSTAGE Theatre Group once again recreates the famously full-frontal sketch show that laid waste to BBC Radio from 1964 to 1973 – with a live band, sound effects and original cast member TIM BROOKE-TAYLOR.

Grandma Claus

Grandma Claus is the kindest, funniest and silliest lady in town – and this Christmas she’s inviting all your family over to visit her for a load of festive cheer! It’s been at least two decades since she last saw her grandson Santa and she lives in hope that this year might be the one he decides to come to call. She’d really like to have some other visitors this Christmas as she loves telling children stories of what Santa gets up to. And who knows, this may be the day Santa pops in to say hello at last and he’s BOUND to want to meet any children who just happen to be here and give them a little gift!

“Grandma Claus made me laugh and cry!”

“A festive treat for the entire family”
