About the specialist degree option: The Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) provides cohesive, specialized training for teachers who already hold a master’s, without the commitment and formal examination of a doctoral program.
Licensure: The program prepares Massachusetts teachers for Professional Licensure (see above). This program is not an initial or professional licensure program.
Fees: The cost of courses is $488 per credit for online classes. In addition there is a $45 per term non-refundable registration fee.
