LionPATH will be offline for approximately 1 hour on Sunday, December 16 sometime between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00 a.m. EST.

Database administrators will be upgrading the Oracle database that underlies Campus Solutions.

ALERT: Notice of Phishing Scam from the Bursar’s Office

On September 1, 2018, a phishing scam was sent to random staff and students that appears to come from “Bursar001@psu.edu” with the subject line “**Your Refund Has Been Processed*”.

The email message states: “a refund has been generated from your student account. Due to federal and other financial aid regulations, students may receive refunds even though they have unpaid tuition, fees, or other charges.” The email includes a link to a fake “View Information” link and is signed by Bursar Account Management.

NEWS: New LionPATH feature allows students to download their class schedule to a calendar app

LionPATH’s new feature can help students more easily keep track of their class schedule. Students are now able to download their class schedule to various calendar apps on their phone, tablet, or computer.

ALERT: LionPATH Mobile App not stable on Android 8 and 9 phones

The LionPATH mobile application is not stable on Android 8 or 9 phones and use of the application is not currently supported. The vendor of the application is aware of the issue. If the issue is corrected, a newer version of the app will be published with Android 8 and 9 support. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Anyone having issues with the mobile app, please use the web version of LionPATH at lionpath.psu.edu.

NEWS: The Bursar’s Office makes changes to the first tuition bill due date and offers a four-installment payment plan

Fall 2018 tuition bills now have an extended due date for the first bill and there is a new optional four-installment payment plan for fall and spring semesters. More details can be found on the Bursar’s website.

An email phishing scam was sent to random individuals that appears to come from a “PSU Bursar” email address with a fake “View Payment Detail” link. Read more about this phishing scam on the Bursar’s website.

Students Registering for Summer or Fall 2018 Classes

For students trying to register for the summer or fall 2018 semester and encounter a Hold on your account, please complete the term’s Pre-Registration Activity guide which will appear in the “To Do” section 3-4 days after this hold has been placed. If the guide does not appear after that time period, please contact your campus Registrar’s Office.

LionPATH’s Public Website has a New Look!

The public website for LionPATH still offers its four basic functions, now with a clearer, simpler look. The redesigned website provides quick access for those individuals who have been granted Delegated Access or Authorized Payer Access for students attending the University. In addition, it allows anyone to search for a class or explore Penn State’s Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletins.

The new design features tabs for each of the four functions — Delegated Access, Authorized Payer Access, Class Search, and University Bulletins. Each page provides tips for the user along with links to additional help materials.

Good support is key to LionPATH’s success, and is part of the team’s ongoing responsibility. We are partnering with the many functional offices who comprise the extended LionPATH network. Because there are many of you and only few of us on the LionPATH team, we will direct you to the appropriate functional office or to Service Now–Penn State’s online ticketing system to submit a service request.

Microsoft Excel converts some PSU IDs into a date format
Status:Interface files that are .csv format and contain the PSU ID should be opened in a text editor, and not in Microsoft Excel.
