Our Illinois Hospitals & Facilities
Trinity Health’s presence in the greater Chicago metropolitan area is highlighted through the three hospitals of Loyola Medicine in the western suburbs and Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in downtown Chicago, as well as a wide network of physicians and specialists in a community near you.
In addition, Loyola Medicine Home Care and Hospice is a comprehensive, trusted provider of services in the sacred place that people call home. A Catholic-based, non-profit organization, we serve patients and their loved ones with in-home nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapies, social work, spiritual care and other home health services.
The Loyola Medicine Office of Advancement is our philanthropic arm. It is the generosity of our family of philanthropy that enables Loyola to remain a national leader in medicine, providing exceptional patient care, conducting leading-edge research, and educating the next generation of physicians.
Loyola Medicine’s mission to treat the human spirit extends to serving you and the community. In fiscal year 2016, Loyola provided more than $145 million in services, programs and activities to support the health of our local communities.
Founded in 1852, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center holds the privilege of being Chicago’s first chartered teaching hospital. Since its founding, Mercy has become an integral part of the city, advancing our mission of providing access to compassionate care to our communities. Today, patients find care that combines world-class medicine with compassion, convenience and an undeniable spirit that sets it apart from other city hospitals. Our experts and nationally ranked programs have, throughout the years, led the way in health care through many pioneering efforts.
As the fundraising arm of Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Mercy Foundation, Inc. strives to raise awareness and funding for the many services and programs that are provided within the hospital and our satellite locations.
Our community-based legacy and mission extends beyond our walls, into the diverse neighborhoods and communities we serve. Mercy is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities, not only as their health care partner, but as a caring member. We participate in many partnerships to help assess and improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
