ECU offers innovative and practical courses across a variety of disciplines and we have a vibrant research culture. ECU is a leader in developing alternative entry pathways to higher education.

We have three campuses in Western Australia. Joondalup and Mount Lawley in the Perth metropolitan area and our South West campus in Bunbury, 200km south of the Perth CBD.

ECU provides a variety of services and facilities that go beyond the classroom, with opportunities for personal development and social interaction for students and staff.

Web Portals – Student and Staff

Almost all of our web systems use a common username and password for authenticating access. This is called your ‘ECU Login ID’ and ‘Password’. It’s important to change your password often, and don’t write it down, or share it with other students or staff.

I don’t know my ECU Login ID and Password

New students

Before you’re able to login to the Student Portal you’ll need to activate your account and set your security reset questions using MyLOGIN. After you’ve completed the activation process it can take up to 5 minutes before your account becomes active.

To activate your account now, visit the MyLOGIN web page.

New staff

Your Login ID and Password are automatically established when you begin employment with us. Your account details are emailed to your line manager when your account is established. Once you have your details you will need to set your password and security reset questions using MyLOGIN. Your initial password to log into MyLOGIN will be provided by your line manager.

To set your new password now, visit the MyLOGIN web page.

Your Login ID is the same login information you use to access SIMO, Blackboard, the e-Lab and Library computers. If it’s been some time since your last login you may need to reset your password as it may have expired.

To reset your expired password now, visit the MyLOGIN web page.

Current staff

Your login information is retained throughout the course of your employment with us. If it’s been some time since your last login you may need to reset your password as it may have expired.

My password has expired, or I need it reset

If it has been some time since your last login and you suspect your password has expired, provided that you know your login ID and your last valid password, you can log into MyLOGIN and reset it. In addition to your Login ID and password, you will be prompted to answer three security questions. You must answer all three security questions correctly for the system to allow you to proceed.

To reset your expired password now, visit the MyLOGIN web page.

If you have forgotten your login details or have encountered an issue using MyLOGIN, please contact the IT Service Desk. Please be aware that you will be required to answer some security questions for identification purposes.

I want to change my password

Under ECU’s Password Conditions, your password expires every 90 days, so we advise you to change it regularly.

You can change your password by visiting the MyLOGIN web page. You will need to log out of the Portal and re-login for the password change to take effect across our web applications.
