Hope participants make amazing additions to your workforce. Don t have a staffing need, but have an assembly project? Hope can do it! Both solutions deliver high quality, competitive pricing, and provide real social impact, while helping to combat the 87% unemployment rate for individuals with developmental disabilities in CA.

Hope Services receives highest level of certification from CARF International – an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. More than 10 million persons of all ages are served annually by 7,000 CARF-accredited service providers. Agencies that provide employment services for people with developmental disabilities must be accredited every 3 years to qualify for funding.

Just one of the many complimentary comments from CARF’s auditors: “Hope Services has many dedicated and skilled staff members and leaders who clearly advance the mission with care and compassion for the clients. Input from employers, families, and funders indicate high satisfaction with their professionalism and quality if the services provided.”

Hope Services opens Willow Glen thrift store
Mercury News April 8, 2017

By Sal Pizarro: Shoppers lined up Friday morning to be the first ones in the door at the newest store in Willow Glen. But this isn’t a hip boutique like those you’ll find on Lincoln Avenue. It’s a thrift store, and its proceeds will go a long way toward helping people with developmental disabilities.

Hope Thrift SuperCenter, which occupies a former Safeway location in Willow Glen Plaza on Almaden Road, is the first retail outlet opened by San Jose-based Hope Services. The nonprofit provides programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities, and the store will not only provide funding for those services, it’ll also provide jobs for Hope clients. New Willow Glen thrift store sells used brand-name items
Mercury News April 12, 2017

By Julia Baum: A new secondhand super store has debuted in Willow Glen, promising a high-end shopping experience at thrift shop prices.

HopeTHRIFT opened last week at 2306 Almaden Road near Curtner Avenue, joining nearby Goodwill and Savers to establish what Hope Services Chief of Staff Dan Orloff calls the “Rodeo Drive of thrift stores.”
Or, Orloff added, “perhaps a better way to describe it is if Nordstrom and Ross stores got together to open a thrift super center, it would look like HopeTHRIFT.”

The 26,000-square-foot store, which benefits people with developmental disabilities, says it has more than 60,000 affordably priced brand-name used items for sale, including housewares, electronics, small appliances, toys and refurbished bikes. See full article.
