Hyundai has gone from strength to strength the last several years on the back of redesigned products and great value. For 2015, the Sonata and Genesis sedans get full redesigns with new styling inside and out, as well as updated features.

Hyundai’s smallest offering, the subcompact Accent. comes as a sedan or five-door hatchback. For 2015, the Accent gets minor exterior styling changes while still offering excellent fuel economy at 27/38 mpg city/highway and plenty of standard features. Its starting price of around $15,000 also makes it one of the most affordable cars around as well.

The Elantra got large updates last year, adding a new engine option and tweaking the styling slightly. For 2015, we wave goodbye to the coupe model leaving only the sedan and hatchback (sold as the Elantra GT ) body styles. For those who want more flexibility, the Elantra GT offers plenty of cargo room and attractive options like a dual-pane panoramic moonroof.

Unique in every way, the three-door Veloster has one door on the driver s side but two on the passenger s side for easier backseat entry. The Veloster seats four passengers and in addition to offering a sporty drive will get you up to 40 mpg on the highway. There are also Turbo and Turbo R-Spec models for those looking to get more performance for their dollar.

The Sonata midsize sedan gets a full redesign for 2015 that changes the look and feel of the car. Gone is the flowing dashboard, it has been replaced by a driver-focused console. The grille is larger and more aggressive and new features have been added as well, like a hands-free smart trunk that opens automatically if you stand behind the rear bumper for three seconds with the key fob. The Sonata Hybrid also returns, but without the redesign changes (it should get those updates for 2016).

Also looking very fresh thanks to a few styling updates for the new model year is the Azera. which slots in above the Sonata. The Azera offers more legroom and interior comfort, while also pouring in the standard features like heated front and rear seats and a navigation system with backup camera.

Two variants of the Genesis are also available: a sedan version and the sporty Genesis Coupe. The Genesis Coupe makes the V-6 engine standard for 2015, with its 348-hp being pushed through a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Genesis sedan is more of a luxury cruiser than its more spastic junior and it gets a complete redesign for 2015. The outside is adorned with what Hyundai calls the second generation of its fluidic sculpture design language. It still sits atop a proper rear-wheel drive platform and gets unique Genesis -brand badging to go along with a long list of interior features. A new all-wheel drive system is also available.

The ultra-luxurious Equus sedan returns in both regular and long wheelbase versions. The Equus was designed to compete with the flagship luxury sedans from marquee makes like BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

A trio of crossover SUVs rounds out Hyundai s lineup. First up is the compact Tucson which comes with seating for five and optional all-wheel drive. The Tucson gets fuel economy for a compact SUV at up to 23/29 mpg city/highway and is also rather stylish.

Hyundai also offers two variants of the midsize Santa Fe. the five-seat Santa Fe Sport and the larger three-row Santa Fe. The Santa Fe Sport. as its name would suggest, is the smaller and more nimble of the two. It weighs 266 pounds less than its larger counterpart, which improves both driving dynamics and fuel economy. The Santa Fe gets styling updates for 2015 and seats six or seven passengers depending on the second row configuration.
