priorities

I believe that life begins at conception. I support policies that protect life and human dignity and oppose any attempts to use taxpayer funds for abortion.

Agriculture

Agriculture is an economic engine and accounts for hundreds of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in wages and salaries in Arkansas.

I support spending cuts and necessary reforms to put our budget on a sustainable path.

As a 30-year veteran of the United States Army National Guard, I understand the importance of ensuring our nation is protected.

The education of our nation’s children is the foundation for our success.

Domestic energy production is essential to the growth of our economy and to the security of our nation.

Foreign Affairs

The United States is a global leader, and with growing uncertainty in the world, now is no time to vacate our seat.

Health Care

The PPACA was an unprecedented expansion of government that put tens of millions of Americans at risk of losing their health insurance coverage and increased the costs.

Immigration

Illegal immigration continues to be a serious problem in Arkansas and across our country. Our system is broken, and Congress must act.

Small Business

It would be difficult to overstate the impact of small businesses in America. They are the backbone of our economy and heart of Main Street.

Social Security

We must have an adult conversation about reforming Social Security in order to save benefits for current recipients and ensure it will be around for future generations.

Tax Reform

Our tax code is broken. It is complicated, confusing, and chock-full of special-interest loopholes.

Transportation

Congress must do its work to ensure our nation’s highways, railways, and waterways are properly maintained.

There is no better barometer for a country than the brave men and women who have risked their lives to defend its freedom.

I want to serve my constituents in any way I can. Whether you need help with a federal agency, are trying to find out if federal grants are available for your project, or are considering applying to a service academy. I hope all the information in this section will be helpful.
