Active inmates

Being a full service jail requires us to provide many programs and activities for inmates. Some of these are: Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Anger management, Parenting Plus, G.E.D. education, full medical and psychological services, laundry, library and commissary services. Bible study and religious counseling are available as well. Inmates are provided with recreational periods, television and table games. Additional programs are Work Release, Community Service projects and Life Skills training.

This facility complies with all minimum standards as set forth by the Bureau of Adult Detention. The jail has maintained a 100% rating with that bureau for the last 8 years. This is mainly due to a dedicated and professional staff. All staff members must pass a rigorous pre-employment program prior to being hired. In addition, all staff members attend a certificate Jail Academy and a minimum of 24 hours of in-service training each year.
